Shabbat Interactive Service

10:30 am at Beth El Temple, 2626 Albany Avenue, West Hartford

JCL’s Shabbat services take place 3 to 5 times a year. Each one is an interactive, immersive experience.  Nancy Rosen, a renowned educator, leads the service with song, movement, and sign language. Halfway through the service, we are invited to the main sanctuary for the Torah procession.

Sara deBeer, a celebrated local professional storyteller, eloquently shares a meaningful and relevant folktale with our participants. At the conclusion of the service, JCL provides a light Kiddush luncheon.

The public is invited.
